Description
HEAVY TRACK
8240-1330
- KONI Special technology, up-sized for 4x4s and pick-ups.
- Rebound adjustable to tune according to your vehicle set up.
- Improved handing and ride for large vehicles.
- Dampers are specifically designed for each application.
Adjustment Style
Internal Adjustment
KONI developed and manufactured the first adjustable telescopic shock absorbers and continue to innovate adjustment technology in each product.
KONI Internal Adjustment is used on the Twin-tube design shock absorbers.
This type of adjustment is made with the shock fully compressed and off the vehicle.
Design Construction
Twin-tube Design
KONI shock absorbers come in two different constructions:
- Monotube design or
- Twin-tube design.
Our engineers tailor shock absorbers for each application choosing the best design construction to suit your vehicle.
No matter which type of shock absorber application your vehicle uses, the general principle of each is to convert kinetic energy (movement) into thermic energy (heat).
